I read the reviews currently posted on google so I feel compelled to write one of my own. I've been going to DuFresne's now for several years and have had some major work done on each of my cars (E-150, Passat and Sequoia). In each case, they have done quality work at a price that is comparable to other quality garages around Portland. They are not the cheapest place in town and they do point out problems that you didn't know were problems, but they accurately explain the consequences of not having something done, are not pushy in their sales, and they do quality work. All-in-all, I've come to trust their services and can confidently recommend them.

Trustworthy, fair, and prompt! We were happy with this service, as we have been with all our experiences at DuFresnes. This shop is a neighborhood treasure.

We have had a chirp that goes at the rate of the wheel rotation. After an inspection, test drive and another inspection the problem was not found?????We understand that this can happen. We appreciated the diligence that was provided intrying to find the chirp source. We agreed to take the explorer and listen for it, possibly record the sound and bring it back. Thank you for your help.

Friendly, efficient and reasonably priced. Provided thorough information regarding required repairs and were completed in a timely manner. The car was ready when they said it would be at the price they quoted.

I had to take my car in, again, to Du Frense's. This time for a very different problem. Once again these guys got me right in. They explained everything that was going on and gave me some options. My car was done the next day. I was able to use my coupon that I receive in the monthly flyer and save on my great service. The people at Du Fresne's make me feel like family and I know that I can trust them!
