Staff was friendly and was able to set up an appointment for me quickly. What I found nice was that they emailed me the estimate for approval before starting work. They also put in writing all their extra advice/observations/opinions - not just verbally, which could be misunderstood. My car needed some engine work done. I found they did a good job and would not hesitate to go back in the future.

WE have found most people really like receiving their estimates by e-mail. Technology can be wonderful.

My car wouldn't start the night before I was due to head to Ashland for a conference. I had AAA tow my car to Du Fresne's and left email and voice mail messages. When I called them the next morning at 7:00 they were already working on diagnosing what the problem might be. I was figuring I might miss my conference or have to rent a car to go. Instead, Du Fresne's had the alternator replaced and picked me up from home so I could get my car and be on my way only 3 hours later than I had planned. Du Fresne's has always worked hard to accommodate my requests, for which I am so very grateful. They are dependable, honest, hardworking people who provide excellent service for a fair price.

This was my first experience having mechanical work done on one of our vehicles. After walking past the Du Fresne Auto Service business for the past 5 years, I suddenly found myself in a position that required immediate car care service. Their proximity to our home as well as the continual stream of business that seemed to be in their que gave me confidence to use them. I am please to say, I was not disappointed and will likely go to them again when the time arises. In this case, I had a timing belt break which fortunately could be repaired at a reasonable overall cost. The mechanical team did a great job getting my vehicle up and running without doing a lot of upsale or unnecessary work.

Kevin, it only took 5 years of walking past us to give us a try. :-).
