I needed my AC repaired in my Civic but didn’t know where to go, so I decided to take a shot at this local shop I have never been to before and was pleasantly surprised by their friendly customer service, good prices, and honesty when doing business. They also offered a loaner vehicle for a repair which only took a couple of hours and had coffee with some delightfully large pastries for sale inside as well. What more could you ask for? I’ll certainly return to Du Fresne’s for any repairs in the future.

I needed to return to this shop for them to revisit their past work on my AC. There was an audible knock from under the hood that appeared only after they had done maintenance on my AC, and I did not notice the knock before the maintenance had occurred. When I called and asked about the issue, they said the AC repair is covered under their warranty so they can take a look at the issue with my AC free of charge. Now, here is where they lost me and why I will not be returning here for my next visit to the auto shop. I told them to check if their work was done correctly, which they did, but in addition to that they also took the liberty upon themselves to find what the underlying issue was… and charge me for it. Their rate was $93 for .5 hours of an inspection to tell me that one of my belt tensioners needs to be replaced, which is pretty ridiculous honestly especially for a returning customer who probably would have done the repair on the spot if you didn’t up charge for just the half hour estimate. The total cost of my original AC repair itself with labor and parts was $280. So honestly, I left their shop feeling taken advantage of on the second visit and because of that I cannot recommend this place anymore unfortunately.

Wonderful to find an honest, professional, excellent autp mechanic right in our neighborhood! Took our 8 yr old Toyota RAV 4 in for an oil change. Computer also said I needed an air filter change. Change the oil & filter labor: $15! Change the air filter : no charge! Any other mechanic shop would have charged min of 1hr labor at $60. ++. These guys only fix what needs to be fixed, no padding of the bill, and sell amazing coffee to go! Best place in town to have your car repaired . Highly recommend their services!

Dufresne's has kept our cars in tiptop shape for over 20 years. They recently swapped out my snow tires for my regular tires, changed my oil, checked my brakes, and more. I'm so happy to know my car is ready for summer thanks to Dufresne's excellent service!

I have used Du Fresne a number of times for oil changes and a few light repairs. They are friendly, quick, and honest about issues when other more shady repair places have pushed for unnecessary repairs to make a quick buck on me. That being said, they frequently offer specials and are very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

They promised to have my car ready before my son needed to be picked up from preschool. They delivered on their promise!
